Our Mission: To create a popular online website related to the Nintendo Wii which generates a large amount of traffic every month. The website should be updated regularly with news, screenshots, videos, competitions, reviews, previews, etc and include a forum for registered members to join. It will need to be fully advertised online and achieve high rankings across all major search engines (especially Google).

Services carried out: Web Design, Web Development, Content Creation, Website Maintenance, Online Marketing and Search Engine Optimization.

Website Development Stage: Impliweb designed and developed the complete website. They used an existing open source script (called gameCMS) and significantly modified it to include a variety of extra features. They integrated the back-end of the script into a unique design. It was vital that the website had both a good-looking design while at the same time be search engine friendly.

The website also included an easy to use online control panel to effortlessly update the website with news, games, screenshots, reviews, articles, etc.

Online Marketing and Search Engine Optimization:

Our goal was to promote the website online using a variety of methods including social media advertising and search engine optimization. Our main focus was search engine optimization (SEO).

Impliweb Ltd. worked on promoting, advertising and optimizing the website for search engines over a period of roughly 2 years.

Within 3 months the website was already ranking high up on very competitive keywords related to the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Wii games. The website was also advertised on social networking websites such as MySpace, Digg, NewsNow, etc.

After 6 months the website was establishes as a trusted source for the latest Nintendo Wii news. The website achieved enormous amounts of traffic and had very high search engine rankings. Over 80% of traffic came from search engines.

Impliweb Ltd. ensured the website was regularly updated with high quality news articles, reviews, games, videos, screenshots, etc. Impliweb also launched regular competitions and rewarded members who submitted free content (such as news, reviews, etc) to the website.

Within 1 year impliweb had achieved first page results for hundreds of keywords related to the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Wii Games across all major search engines (especially Google).

In the years 2006 to 2007 WiiPlus.net was getting 50,000 to 100,000 visitors every month and nearly all traffic was a result of high search engine rankings. The website was ranking for thousands of different keywords all related to the Nintendo Wii.

Some of the most impressive results were a page 1 natural listing for the following highly competitive keywords:

• Nintendo Wii
• Nintendo Wii News
• Nintendo Wii Games
• Nintendo Wii Reviews
• Nintendo Wii Previews
• Nintendo Wii Competitions
• Nintendo Wii Forums

And page 1 results for virtually everything else related to the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii games and Nintendo Wii news.

By 2008 the website and the websites forums had over 8,000 registered members, with over 1,000 new members joining every month.

When the website launched it was getting around $10/month from advertisements, but thanks to Impliweb’s online promotion and advertising deals, by 2008 wiiplus.net managed to generate thousands of dollars in advertisements, sponsorship deals and so on. Impliweb also contacted and developed strong business relationships with a variety of online gaming companies such as EA, SEGA, Vivendi Games, Nintendo and many more who regularly gave WiiPlus.net free review copies of games to review and the latest company press releases.

WiiPlus.net Traffic

WiiPlus.net was generating over 1,000 unique visitors to the website every day and around 2,000 to 4,000 page views every day.

The website, WiiPlus.net, was later bought by iEntry, Inc.® in February 2008.
Impliweb Ltd. thus not only achieved all the websites goals but also exceeded everyone’s expectations by producing a website that ended up being one of the biggest unofficial Nintendo Wii websites on the internet with a huge members list, fantastic search engine rankings and incredible amounts of traffic every month.

The website was a huge success.
